Meet Our First Lady!

Shanti Richardson, a native of Saint Louis, Missouri, is the first lady of Bethany Apostolic.  She is the youngest of seven seven siblings.

Lady Shanti was baptized in Jesus' name and filled with the Holy Ghost in 1982 at Bethesda Temple Church under the pastorate of the late Bishop James A. Johnson. She was a youth leader and missionary. In 1989 she relocated to California and placed her membership at Christ Temple Apostolic Church where she served as head of the junior usher board and a member of the church board. She has made her career with the California Department of Corrections as a correctional counselor/officer for the last 21 years.

In 2006 she became first lady of Bethany after her husband accepted the pastorate. First Lady Shanti strives to be an example of a virtuous woman who has yielded to God in every area of her life. He is the women's ministry leader, and the Lord has given her a passion for children.

Lady Shanti continues to aim toward and produce excellence in all her ministry opportunities. She has a heart for people and is a committed prayer warrior. She is real and loves hard. She is a giver of herself. She is selfless. It is her desire to radiate the light to those with whom she comes in contact.
